PANAJIAs a part of World Environment Day on 5th June, Green Ray Foundation has organised a Poster Drawing Competition for the students of schools and colleges. The theme of the competition is “Only One Earth” which should focus on living sustainably in harmony with nature, bringing transformative changes through policies and our choices towards cleaner and greener lifestyles. The Competition is organised in two categories, Juniors and Seniors. Students from Std VII and below will be the Juniors category while students from Std VIII to college students will be the Seniors category. Prizes for Junior category will be Rs 5000, Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 first, second and third prizes respectively while for the Seniors category the first prize will be Rs 10,000, second prize Rs 7000 and third prize Rs 5000. Size of the poster should be 1/4 Imperial or A3 and must be hand drawn and painted. Last date to submit the entries is June 15 and should be submitted to Eds Printers, near Caritas building, St Inez, Panaji between 10 am and 4 pm on working days.
