The State government on Saturday issued an order transferring Additional Collector Vandana Rao, IAS, and posting her as the new Director of Sports and Youth Affairs.Rao has also been given the additional charges of Director of Information Technology and Managing Director of the State-owned Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC). Another IAS officer, Hemant Kumar, who is the Commissioner Sales Tax, meanwhile, has been given additional charge of Special Secretary (Home, Personnel & Vigilance) in addition to his own duties.
