In a major raid, Colva police on Saturday seized illegal liquor which was stored in an apartment at Colva worth Rs 11.41 lakh. This is the second raid conducted by the men-in-uniform in the last 24 hours. The raid on Friday was conducted by the Crime branch, sources said. Colva police informed that the illegal liquor was stored in the apartment located at Vanelim-Colva. The seized liquor has since been handed over to the Excise department, Margao. The raid was conducted by Colva Police Station team led by PI Melson Colaco, PSI Jaideep Amre, PC Vikas Kaushik, Mohit Gosawi, Sarvesh Velip, Bindesh Talpikar & Sanjay Gaonkar.
