Konkani Bhasha Mandal’s Ravindra Kelekar Dnyanmandir bagged the overall championship at the science festival ‘Colours of Science’ organized by Damodar Higher Secondary School at Gudi-Paroda.
Himaja Hegde Desai and Dhruv Bhusannavar won first and second place respectively in the Science Project competition. Ankur Kunde won first place in PowerPoint Presentation competition. Sharwani Naik and Pranali Govekar won second and third prize respectively in the Konkani Poetry Writing competition while Anshu Gawandalkar, Siya Audi and Tanisha Naik won the first three positions respectively in the English Poetry Writing competition. Students participated in the competition under the leadership of science teacher Shukla Parab and guidance from other teachers.
The prizes presentation ceremony was held in the school hall. The deputy director of Education, Manoj Sawaikar, retired headmaster Datta Moni, event coordinator Dr Gajanan Parulekar, principal Arvind Kulkarni were present on the dais.
