The Department of Economics of SS Dempo College organised a session on the ‘Basics of

Insurance’ on January 16. The resource person was Gaurav Sharma, Business Head at Catalyst Insurance Brokers Pvt Ltd. The session was organised for the benefit of the FY B.Com students studying Economics of Financial Investment. Assistant Professor Sanchana Mandrekar coordinated the session.

VASCO: The feast of Our lady of Desterro at Vasco will be held on January 28. According to information, the novena mass timing will be 5:45 pm followed by singing the salve by the angels. The Holy Rosary will be prayed during all the Novena days at 5:15 pm on the feast day, the first mass will be at 7 am and the solemn High Mass will be at 9:30 am followed by the formal procession carrying the statue of Our lady of Desterro.
