MARGAO: Shiroda Youth Club scored a hard fought 2-1 win over Raia Sporting Club to register win in the GFA 3rd division league match played at Don Bosco Oratory ground Fatorda on Thursday.
Placito Cruz and Hohnathan D'Costa netted a goal each for Shiroda YC while Ravindra Gaude reduced the margin for Raia SC.
UB Dando Colva defeated Varca SC 5-1 at Dando ground Benaulim. Deepak Naik scored a hat-trick while Keegan Fernandes and Josbern Fernandes netted a goal each for UBD Colva. The only goal for Varca SC was scored by Mohammad Sadik Mulla.
In a match of the Mormugao Zone played at Utorda Sports Complex ground - Cortalim Gymkhana easily outwitted Vaddem Sports Club by 3-0 goals. Leading by 2-0 at the breather, Krunal Naik scored a brace while Jinto Borah was the other scorer for Cortalim Gymkhana.
