PANAJIA Souvenir published by Rebuild India Trust, Agassaim was released at the hands of Shripad Naik, Minister of State for Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Tourism at a function held at Sao Pedro, Ribandar on Sunday. Pravin Arlekar, MLA, Pernem, Sanjiv Gadkar (IAS), Abhay Bhamaikar, Rohit Sonurlekar, Shyam Sawant, Pushlata Redkar and Sandila Virnodkar were also present at the occasion. While briefing the press after releasing the Souvenir, Gadkar informed that Rebuild India Trust, Goa in association with Scheduled Caste Welfare Association of Goa will organise the 1st Goa SC Star Award 2022 on May 1 at the Banquet Hall (Caculo Mall, Panjim).
The objective of this awards is to honour individuals from SC community for their notable achievements and contribution in their field of expertise, to develop a pool of resource persons for supporting cause of academy, to build a platform to raise funds/resources required for smooth functioning of academy and to develop a strong network among influential persons in SC community.
