VASCOA training cum installation ceremony of Smartboard was organised at MES Higher Secondary School, Zuarinagar on Friday. The Chief Guest on the occasion was the Deputy Director of Education, South Education Zone, Dr Uday Gaonkar. Principal Vishwanath Swar informed that the smartboards would aid in the teaching-learning method, clarity in lectures and benefit students in a big way. The Resource person on the occasion was Pradnya Kambli, of the Senses Electronics Pvt Ltd, Pune. She imparted the various modules and features of the Smartboard which is called an Intelligent Interactive Panel (IIP) to the staff members in a half-day session. The Manager Nelly Rodrigues, called the training programme the need of the hour and informed that it would enhance the teaching-learning methods. In his address, the Chief Guest Dr Uday Gaonkar said that these smartboards are a gift to the teachers in this technological era.
