Goa Hyundai, in a new out of the box initiative, has launched the Save Water campaign from June 3 to 17 across all its service workshops in the State. Goa Hyundai will use the dry wash techniques instead of washing cars with water to educate car owners on water conservation."A dry wash technique will be used instead of washing the cars with water. On an average 120 Liters of water is consumed per car wash during service which goes down the drain thus depriving millions of clean water which if not conserved would lead to a water shortage one day. Presuming if 1000 cars are washed per day in the State of Goa, we tend to use 1,20,000 Litres of water which goes down the drain and is wasted."
"The effort by Goa Hyundai is towards educating car customers to understand the gravity of the situation we could be in future and hence request them to extend their full support in our efforts towards Conservation of Water in the State of Goa," said a press release issued on Saturday by Goa Hyundai.
