St Michael’s Convent High School, Vagator“Anjuna will host the 12th Inter-School Environmental Festival ‘Glow On 2025’ on August 23, themed “Nurture Nature for a Better Future.” Ten schools from across Goa will take part in a series of vibrant contests, including ‘Dress Me Up’ (fancy dress event based on traditional medicinal plants), ‘Green Scream’ (mime performances), ‘Ecoscape’ (collage making), and ‘Spark Your Curiosity’ (project presentations showcasing sustainable ideas). Adding colour to the day, Class V students will present a lively fashion parade on Exotic Fruits & Wild Berries, followed by an environmental dance by the primary section. An exclusive Inter-School Elocution and Essay Competition for the Holy Family of Nazareth Educational Society schools will further highlight the festival’s theme. The inaugural ceremony at 8.45 am will feature Dr Pronoy Baidya, Scientist and Head of Research Division at AERO, as Chief Guest, alongside Headmistress Sr Alvita Gurjao SFN and Manager Sr Verona Crasto SFN.
