SVD seminary, Raia Damon held a Thanksgiving mass for their first Goan bishop, Bishop Anthony (Tony) Pascal Rebello, SVD, bishop of Francistown, Botswana on Saturday in the presence of Bishop Anthony (Tony) Pascal Rebello, SVD, Bishop of Francistown, Botswana was the main celebrant. Fr Joaquim Fernandes, rector of SVD seminary Raia, Fr Micheal Pereira and other priests were the concelebrants.
In his thanksgiving words, Bishop Tony gave thanks to lord Jesus, SVD seminary, the parishioners of Raia, Fatorda and others, the Diocese of Goa and Daman for the love and care and also remembered the works, services of late Fr Peter Verhaelen, founder of SVD Seminary who worked in the vineyard of the Lord, with love, care and serving others.
