MARGAO: Dempo Sports Cub defeated Millat FC 1-0 in the Third Division I league, at Dempo Academy ground, Ella, on Friday.
Both teams came into the match in dire need of points. The all important goal was scored by Saigomang Doungel. With a goal up, Dempo refused to take their foot off the gas as they continued to mount pressure on rival defence. The visitors too had chances but the rival defenders stood tall in keep their citadel intact till the final whistle.
