Kala Academy Goa, in joint collaboration with Tiatr Academy Goa and Institute Menezes Braganza, will organise Tiatr Day Celebration on April 24 from 4 pm onwards at the Main Auditorium, Institute Menezes Braganza, Panaji. Govind Gaude, Minister for Art & Culture will be the Chief Guest for the function. Menino Fernandes, President, Tiatr Academy Goa, Mario Menezes, Vice President, Tiatr Academy Goa, Dr Cosma Fernandes, Executive Member of Kala Academy, Premanand Sangodkar, and Avito Fernandes, Senior Tiatr Artist, will be on the dais. A get-together/tea party at the exhibition hall of Institute Menezes Braganza is arranged from 3.30 pm to 4.00 pm. Thereafter, the Tiatr Day function will be held in which 12 senior Goan tiatr artistes will be felicitated for their outstanding contribution in the field of tiatr. The felicitation function will be followed by the Prize Distribution of Tiatr ‘B’ Group Competition 2020-21 at the hands of dignitaries. Kala Academy has appealed to the Tiatr lovers to attend the aforesaid function in large numbers.
