The PTA of Chowgule Education Society’s St Joseph’s Institute, secondary section, at Vasco has has installed a Sanitary Pad Incinerator in the girls’ toilet.
This move, undertaken with the contribution of parents of the school, will help instil a better sense of self-hygiene among girls. They can now conveniently dispose of their used pads themselves, thus getting rid of the embarrassment of finding ways to dispose of their napkins.
