MARGAO: Vasco Veterans pip Pernem veterans 1- 0 to earn a spot in the semi-finals of the All Goa late Clement memorial veterans football tournament, organised by Youth of Fatrade, at Varca ground, on Wednesday.
After the breather, as the match was heading towards the fag end, Pernem defender handled the ball in the penalty box and Sheikh Niazi converted the resulting penalty into goal.
