The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Mormugao Prakhand took up the task of reaching out to 1,500 needy families in Mormugao Taluka for Diwali celebration.
Under the Mohim named ‘Diwali Abhiyaan’, the karyakartas collected funds from different pockets of Goa and distributed basic material such as Poha, oil, lamps, jaggery and puffed rice to 1,500 Hindu families of Mormugao Prakhand.
The Mohim was carried out from November 9 to November 12.
