The Bardez Bazzar Consumers’ Cooperative Society Limited has recently appointed Virendra Malcolm Pereira as the Managing Director. Pereira has over 25 years experience in sales, marketing and retail management. Before joining Bardez Bazzar, he had his own ‘Pereira Management and Research Consultants’ of which he was the director. He had offices in Goa and in the UAE. Bardez Bazzar Consumers’ Co-operative Society Ltd is a pioneer in the consumer cooperative supermarket space in Goa, growing for the past 33 years having presence at Mapusa, Khorlim, Bicholim, Calangute and Margao and has plans to open branches at Thivim, Ponda, Vasco and Porvorim. The new store at Margao has collaborated and forged alliances / partnerships with pharmacy, general merchandise, optician, food court, florist, etc.
