MARGAO: Viva Veterans North got the better of Bardez Veterans 4-2 via the tie-breaker and moved to the semi-finals of the Betalbatim Kala Mogi 2nd All Goa Veterans Football Cup, at Betalbatim ground, on Monday.
Alex Ambrose of Viva Veterans North made an attempt with a long shot which went over the bar by an inch. In the 10th minute, Bardez Veterans' Jude made many attempts which did he failed to convert.
In the tie-breaker, Viva Veterans North proved to be better shooters.
