A week-long celebration will be held in Panaji to promote the French language, culture and heritage from March 20-26 as Alliance Française worldwide is celebrating 140 years in 2023. The celebration in Goa is in sync with the worldwide celebrations and Alliance Française Panaji will be collaborating with Surya Kiran Heritage Hotel for this event. The festival will offer various activities such as an interactive French cello performance, Francophone literature and quiz night, speak dating, music by SeCaTo, karaoke night, French learning opportunities through cooking, food, songs and fun-filled sessions for kids through activities, games and laughter. The week-long celebration will culminate in a French film screening on March 26. Moreover, there will be a week-long French food festival, serving authentic and best French dishes such as French Onion Soup, Salade Niçoise, Croque Madame, Poisson au beurre blanc, Cotriade, Classic Coq Au Vin, and Tarte Aux Pommes. The event is open to all and free of charge.
