PANAJI: A two-day national level workshop on Robotics, Internet of Things, and Cyber Security was held in Porvorim. The workshop was organised by the Department of Computer Applications of Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbandora in association with the Department of Science, Technology and Waste Management.
Chief guest and Sanvordem MLA Ganesh Gaonkar stressed the need of keeping oneself abreast with the latest developments in the current times of fast evolving technology. He said that such workshops are important for broadening and sharing of knowledge and aid in upscaling and reskilling.
The workshop covered ‘Networking’, ‘Ethical Hacking’, and ‘Cyber Security’ concepts. Various Hacking and mitigation methods were demonstrated to the participants. Prof FM Nadaf, Deputy Director, Higher Education was the guest of Honour for the event.
