Palash Agni Studios, Margao will be celebrating the World Environment Day in association with NityAnant Creationz and Think & Ink on June 5. An online talk on the theme ‘Goan Environment - Beauty and Richness’ will be held wherein researcher and environmentalist Rajendra Kerkar will be the keynote speaker. Kerkar who has presented papers on Goan environment in Goa has been actively involved in the Mhadei Bachav movement. This talk will be streamed live on the Facebook page of Palash Agni Studios between 6 and 7.15 pm on June 5.

Rent-a-cab taxi operators submit memo to transport department

PANAJI Rent-a-Cab taxi operators have submitted a memorundum to the transport department mentioning that it is not feasible for them to pay hiked all India permit fees. These operators have demanded a state specific fees as their vehicles are not plying outside Goa.The central government has increased the all India permit free.
