BJP national president J P Nadda’s two-day visit to Goa has been cancelled due to his preoccupation in Delhi.
State BJP President Sadanand Tanavade informed that Nadda called up on Sunday morning and expressed his inability to travel to Goa on July 12 due to his busy schedule in the national
capital.
“Nadda will not be able to come to Goa due to some urgent meetings he has to attend in Delhi. We will inform his future programme in Goa once it is confirmed,” Tanavade said.
The BJP national president was supposed to arrive in Goa on July 12 on a two-day visit ostensibly to discuss poll-preparedness for the ensuing 2022 assembly elections which are due in another six months.
The national general secretary (organisation) B L Santosh was also supposed to accompany him.
He was supposed to hold meetings with lawmakers, State party office-bearers and heads of other party organization units in the State.
