Goa Congress leaders seem to be anxiously waiting for the curtains to come down on the ongoing elections in the states of West Bengal, Assam, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, but for a different reason. They are hoping against hope that the leadership issue staring at the Goa Congress will receive some attention from Delhi once the party’s top leaders return to the national capital. GPCC Chief Girishbab Chodankar had come under severe attack from some of the senior party leaders over the electoral debacle and the exit of MLAs under his leadership in the last four years.
