The final rites of the departed Goan Jesuit Fr Vasco do Rego, SJ will take place at St Xavier Church, Camp-Pune, on Friday at 4 pm.
Bishop of Poona Thomas Dabre will be the main celebrant at the Mass, while Jesuit Provincials Fr Roland Coelho (Goa Province) and Fr Agnelo Mascarenhas (Pune Province) are among the several priests expected to concelebrate at the Mass. Fr Pratap Naik, former director of Thomas Stephens Konknni Kendr at Porvorim, will preach the homily.
