The Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) has issued a show-cause notice in connection with a construction near the riverbank in Mandrem.
The GCZMA said the construction falls under No Development Zone and show-cause notices have been issued to four persons, directing them to be present with all their relevant documents and NOC/permissions.
The GCZMA has warned that if the documents and NOC is not presented, then orders will be issued to demolish the construction and disconnect water and electricity connections.
Kishor Shet Mandrekar, president of Swaraj Saunstha, had complained regarding the construction, stating that the foundation was laid near the river bank.
