Hours after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Goa Unit busted a major international racket in Pernem, Goa Forward Party (GFP) on Saturday took a dig at the BJP-led government in Goa for failing to control the menace in the State."Our President Vijai Sardesai has been correctly pointing out that the BJP government has no political will to crack down on drugs in Goa. It takes a central agency to track and bust the racket operating right under the nose of the government," GFP Vice President Durgadas Kamat said in a video message to the media.
Kamat alleged that either Goa Police's intelligence network has failed or the policemen are 'purposely keeping their eyes shut to these crimes.'
"Government should come down heavily on the drug menace but it seems, it has soft corner towards drug cartel," he alleged.
