'Happy to be minister, but feel awkward at replacing Cabral'

After his swearing in as Minister was announced by the BJP leadership, Nuvem MLA Alexio Sequeira told the media that he is happy to be a Minister, but at the same time said that he feels awkward that he is taking the place of Nilesh Cabral in the Cabinet.

“When it comes to Nilesh Cabral, he has been my personal friend. Before Cabral became a MLA, he had voted for me in my election. Besides, I am obliged to him for have helped me. That’s why I am having this awkward feeling within me”, Sequeira said, while acknowledging that Cabral’s OSD Lyndon Monteiro too had helped him in the past.
