PANAJI: The Bombay High Court at Goa has scheduled a further hearing for Wednesday regarding the allegedly illegal constructions in Arambol.
On Monday, the GCZMA informed the High Court that they have issued notices to 152 structures which were the subject matter of an inspection carried out.
“The HC has fixed the matter for the day after tomorrow for all other issues to be considered including that building which was ordered to be demolished and there was 90 days time given to that person to demolish that structure. That has expired today. The Court was told he was going to apply for an extension. That application will probably come the day after tomorrow,” Advocate General Devidas Pangam said.
“As far as the structure of the ex-sarpanch is concerned, the HC is considering and he has been directed to file affidavits, other owners are also directed to file affidavits. They are being filed and the HC will decide about the structure of the ex-sarpanch as well,” the Advocate General added.
