St Andre MLA Francisco Silveira said he had no role whatsoever in the fiasco that played out at the Siridao panchayat during the no-confidence motion against Sarpanch Jagdish Gauns on Friday.
Meanwhile, two of the four panchas who signed no-confidence motion alleged that they received threats to abstain from voting on the motion.
Speaking to the reporters on Friday, former sarpanch Camilo Marques stated that last night, around 25 bouncers were sent to his place to threaten him so that he could not participate in the no-confidence motion.
