The State reported deaths of two more Covid-19 infected Goans raising the number of those succumbing to the dreaded virus to 765.
In the 24-hours between the evenings of Wednesday and Thursday, an 85 -year-old Quepem male native and an 85-year-old man from Caranzalem lost their battle against the disease. The Quepem victim was referred to GMC by Hospicio Hospital, Margao as a heart failure case but died within an hour of admission.
Meanwhile, samples of 1,875 people were tested in the 24-hours of Wednesday-Thursday from which 85 were reported positive, the daily health Bulletin said. Also, 52 recoveries were reported.
