Vijai reinforces Goa’s aspirations

PANAJI

Fatorda MLA and President of Goa Forward Party, Vijai Sardesai, represents a political force that positions Goa in a positive direction. Vijai has always strived to create a state reflective of Goa’s unique culture, traditions and lifestyle, says Vice President of Goa Forward Party Durgadas Kamat.

Born on June 14, 1970 to Dr Jaivant Sardesai, Vijai followed the footsteps of this true Goan gentleman who proudly represented our state and our country at the international level. He pursued his graduation in agriculture, adds Kamat.

In his political career he has ushered in a new, refreshing way of thinking for the people, based on their regionalistic aspirations, and by always putting the interests of Goemkars first. So his founding of Goa Forward Party is no accident. His relentless questioning in the assembly as a vociferous opposition member has helped expose the misdeeds of the government as much as uphold the ideals of democracy.  From Mollem to Old Goa to Mhadei to COVID-19, Vijai has been in the forefront to expose the incompetent and indifferent attitude of the government, adds Kamat.

For Vijai, goals are necessary to guide Goa towards a future that is determined by the people. As my leader, teacher and friend turns 51 today, I wish him all the strength, resilience and courage on behalf of the people of Goa to take our state forward, concludes Kamat.
