Visitors, devotees not allowed at Pilar hillock

The Society of Pilar on Saturday stated that visitors and devotees will not be permitted to the Pilar hillock for any purpose, on account of rising Covid cases.

“While Covid cases are increasing considerably and while the Pilar hillock has many institutions, including a home for elderly priests, visitors and devotees will not be permitted to the Pilar hillock for any purpose till further notice,” states a note issued by Fr Nazareth Fernandes, Superior Delegate of the Pilar Society.

“We request you to bear with us. We shall open as soon as the situation improves. Let us pray for each other that God may protect us all in these times. Our fathers will pray for you at the daily exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. For enquiries, contact: 9322053524 and 9322038791.”
