22 Goa Police personnel took part in IRONMAN 70.3

In an inspiring display of endurance and dedication, Goa Police showcased their commitment to fitness and wellness at the IRONMAN 70.3 Goa with 22 police personnel taking part in it.  

Superintendent of Police (North Goa) Akshat Kaushal became the first officer in his role to complete this iconic race. Alongside him, five dedicated teams from Goa Police competed in the Servicemen category including members of Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) commandos.  

The event also saw the enthusiastic participation of IGP Omvir Singh who joined the relay event for the third consecutive year, partnering with SP Crime Branch Rahul Gupta and ASP Akshat Ayush (SDPO Canacona).  

“Their participation stands as a powerful testament to Goa Police’s dedication to health, resilience, and the strength of community,” reads a statement issued by the department.  

DGP Alok Kumar whose health-centered vision has fostered a wellness culture within the department, commended the officers for their dedication.
