The Department of Statistics and Planning organised a Jana Kalyan Shibir at Vasco on Saturday, during which sanad certificates were distributed to several applicants under the government's ‘Mhaje Ghar’ Scheme.
The programme was aimed at creating awareness about the housing scheme and assisting eligible beneficiaries with the application process.

Applicants also received assistance in resolving issues connected with their applications.
The programme also recognised the achievements of individuals who have made notable contributions in different fields. A total of 12 personalities, six each from the Vasco and Mormugao constituencies, were felicitated for excellence in their respective fields during the event.
