One Covid related death was recorded in the mortality bulletin of the Directorate of Health Services raising the total Covid victim count of Goa to 698.
The deceased person was a 55 year-old from Bicholim, who passed away at GMC, Bambolim.
In addition to this, 112 new cases of the infection were detected among the 1,143 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
With this, the total confirmed cases in Goa have touched 48,686. Of these, 1,364 cases are presently active while 46,624 patients have recovered. The recovery rate stands at 95.76 per cent.
