One Covid-related death was recorded in the mortality bulletin of the Directorate of Health Services raising the total Covid victim count of Goa to 697.
The deceased person was a 70-year-old woman from Cuncolim.
In addition to this, 115 new cases of the infection were detected among the 2,093 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
With this, the total confirmed cases in Goa have touched 48,574. Of these, 1,384 cases are presently active while 46,493 patients have recovered. The recovery rate stands at 95.72 per cent.
