100% results at Mencurem, Navelim schools
BICHOLIM: Two schools in Mencurem and Navelim in Bicholim taluka have secured 100 per cent success at the SSC exams.
Kritika Saraf topped the class with 83 per cent followed by Harish Gad (81%) at Government High School at Mencurem. In all, 11 students appeared for the exams.
Bicholim MLA Naresh Sawal, Latambarcem ZP member Sanjay Shetye and the school management congratulated the students.
The Gurudas Gawas Memorial High School at Navelim-Bicholim, managed by the Vividha Vidhya Pratishthan, also registered 100 per cent results in its first academic year.
Saili Parsekar topped with 80 per cent followed by Siddhi Gawas (79%). In all, 22 students answered the exams.
Pratishthan chairman Pratap Gawas, school manager Geeta Gawas and Headmaster Abhijit Pednekar commended the successful students.
