PANAJI: The Children's Section Committee of Krishnadas Shama Goa State Central Library under its 'Yo Ya Vachuya' Mission will be commemorating the 10th death anniversary of late Dr Manoharrai Sardessai on June 22 by organising different programmes at state level in schools to inculcate reading culture among children and to learn more about the literary works of the writer.
The programme will be conducted in schools on poems penned by Dr Sardessai on June 22 and the best selected students from class 1st to 10th will participate at the taluka level programme on June 25. It will be conducted in all talukas on June 25 from 9 am to 12.30 pm. The participating schools will be given a kit containing books and CDs on the poet and certificates will be given to participating students.
Schools willing to participate should register their names latest by June 17.
