In a fresh crackdown against illegally staying Bangladeshis in India, the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) in Goa has recently issued a home restriction order to 11 of them for allegedly living in the State without valid documents.
These Bangladeshis have been living in Merces for several years sans mandatory permission from the Central agencies.
The FRRO has earlier issued home restriction orders against over two dozen Bangladeshis after Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) zeroed in on several migrants living in Goa for years without valid government permission.
