Twelve persons, including 10 passengers, a motorcyclist and a pillion rider, were left injured in a road accident involving two buses and a motorcycle at Dicarpale on Sunday morning.
Maina-Curtorim police said they will move the transport authorities for the cancellation of the license of one of the drivers, Antonio Rebello, and also the bus permit.
While most of the injured were discharged after first aid, one passenger named Basavraj Chawan, a resident of Sanvordem, is still convalescing at the Hospicio hospital.
Maina-Curtorim PI Gurudas Kadam informed that the accident occurred when the bus following from behind rammed against the bus moving in front and in the process dashed an oncoming motorcycle, injuring the rider Sheik and the pillion rider.
While a passenger from the front bus was injured in the accident, nine passengers in the rear were hurt and had to be rushed to Hospicio along with the motorcycle rider and the pillion rider.
