19-yr-old found dead on rly track

The body of a 19-year-old boy from Shantinagar-Vasco was found near the railway track at New Vaddem, Vasco. rnAccording to reports, Vasco Railway Police received a phone call from Vasco Police informing them that a male person was lying dead near the railway track at New Vaddem.

Accordingly, the police visited the spot and upon inquiry the body was identified by the deceased’s uncle Chandrakant Gunaji Shetye of Shantinagar-Vasco to be of his nephew, Deepak Shetye. The police said the deceased was dashed by a train while he was crossing the track and there is no foul play. After legal formalities, the body was handed over to relatives.
