PONDA
Two houses were damaged when trees came crashing down in separate incidents at Haveli and Nagzar in Curti-Ponda.
Both incidents took place at about 12.45 pm and while one tree damaged the house of Panch Sanjana Naik at Haveli, the second tree fell on the house of Sagun Naik at Nagzar.
The roof at the house of Sanjana Naik collapsed and the wall of the house got damaged, while the roof at two rooms of the house of Sagun Naik collapsed.
There were no injuries as the incidents took place when both houses were unoccupied at the time.
A fire brigade led by Ponda Fire Station incharge Sushil Morajkar later cleared the fallen trees.
