2 youth, woman caught while selling ganja

Vasco Police on Monday evening arrested two youth and a woman from Khariwaddo-Vasco on charges of selling Ganja worth Rs 18,000.

According to reports, Vasco Police received information that one 18-year-old boy, Raju Golar (25) and Razia Venktesh (26) are allegedly involved in selling Ganja to the local youth.

Police said they laid a trap and sent police in civil clothes to buy the drug and while selling it caught them red handed.

The police added that they recovered 710 grammes of Ganja from the three accused, who were arrested under Sections 20 (V) (ii) (a) and 29 of NDPS Act. PSI Nehanda Tavares is investigating the case.
