BICHOLIM
Covid cases have risen in Bicholim taluka, with 26 persons testing positive on Saturday and taking the active cases to 62 in the taluka.
According to reports, the new cases were detected by the Bicholim (13), Sankhali (8) and Mayem (5) health centres.
Bicholim Deputy Collector Deepak Vaingankar and mamlatdar Pravinjay Pandit have appealed to the people of Bicholim taluka follow all the guidelines, while medical officers, Dr Medha Salkar, Dr Sidhi Kansar and Dr Uttam Desai, are closely monitoring the situation in Bicholim taluka.
In addition, teams from the Mamledar office have been creating awareness in various public places to alert the people about Covid and measures to prevent the disease.
