The car which rammed into a roadside tree at Poriem.
Four persons were injured after a car rammed into a tree on the Goa“Belagavi road at Poriem.
According to reports, the Karnataka-registered car was travelling from Sanquelim towards Belagavi via Keri. Near Poriem, the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to ram into a roadside tree. All four occupants of the vehicle sustained injuries in the accident.
On receiving information, locals immediately alerted the 108 ambulance and the injured persons were shifted to the Community Health Centre in Sanquelim for treatment.
The front portion of the car was extensively damaged in the mishap. Police later conducted the panchanama and further investigation is underway.
