Dabolim Airport bags Global ASQ Silver, ranks among world's best

PANAJI: Goa's Dabolim International Airport has secured a global Silver position in the latest Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards conducted by Airports Council International. The airport also ranked second among AAI-operated airports and 59th worldwide, placing it firmly among the leading airports for passenger experience.

The ASQ Awards are widely regarded as the aviation industry’s most credible benchmark for service quality, as they are based entirely on real-time passenger feedback. These surveys assess key areas such as cleanliness, efficiency, comfort, and overall satisfaction at airports across the globe.

Reacting to the recognition, Airport Director Akash Deep credited the achievement to a collective effort across all levels of operations.

“This achievement is a testament to our unwavering commitment to passenger delight. Securing the 2nd position globally is not just a win for the airport, but a win for the entire state of Goa," he said, adding that it reflects the tireless dedication of staff, the operational brilliance of partners, and the warm hospitality that defines the region.

He further highlighted three core contributors behind the success: the airport’s on-ground and backend teams for their round-the-clock dedication, airline partners for maintaining high service standards, and various stakeholders and agencies whose coordination ensures smooth functioning.

While celebrating the achievement, airport authorities are already setting their sights higher. Plans are underway to further strengthen digital systems, streamline passenger movement, and reduce transit times in a bid to climb to the top spot in global rankings.

Let this success fuel our ambition," the Airport Director concluded. "We are proud of how far we’ve come, but we are even more excited about where we are going. Thank you for making Goa proud."
