426/450: Now, Prateek makes clean sweep at BITSAT 2017

Adding another feather to his cap, Prateek Rebello has managed to score 426 out of 450 at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Aptitude Test (BITSAT) 2017.

PANAJI:
Prateek, who is the student of Mushtifund Aryan Higher Secondary School, Panaji, is eagerly awaiting JEE (Advanced) Results as getting into IIT is his first choice.
Speaking about Prateek’s success, Principal of the school Vyankatesh Prabhudessai said, “As far as BITSAT is concerned, every student answers a different paper which is randomly generated. The paper comprises 450 marks of which Prateek has scored 426, which is the highest score ever from Goa till date. He has broken Raunak Sakhardande’s record, who had scored 423 in 2008. In fact, to my knowledge, other than these two nobody has crossed 400. It is a big score and Prateek has done it in style.”
The paper was divided into four sections “ Physics comprising 40 questions, Chemistry with 40 questions, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning with 15 and 10 questions respectively and lastly Mathematics with 45 questions.
Speaking to The Goan Everyday, Prateek’s father Dr Oscar Rebello said, “We are proud of his success, but what we want him to be is happy in life. No
career is big or small as long as he enjoys and finds happiness in what he does and is able to contribute to the society. This is all that matters.”
