Barely six months after it was inaugurated, the Curchorem Cacora Municipal Council (CCMC) administrative building has faced leakage and portions of the plaster are also giving way.
According to sources, a cabin reserved for the municipal official to function has been leaking, while the plaster of the newly constructed building is seen crumbling in many places.
When contacted, CCMC Chairperson Jasmine Braganza admitted to the issues at the CCMC building.
“After taking note of the leakage in one of the cabins and portions of the plaster crumbling, I contacted the contractor who assured to look into the matter and undertake the repair work,” said Braganza.
“Any issues pertaining to the building within a period of one year need to be repaired by the contractor.”
