In two different gambling raids in North Goa, the Crime Branch on Thursday late night arrested eight people.
According to the information, the gambling raids were held at Colvale and Mapusa. The crime branch received inputs with regards to gambling taking place in a residential house near Colvale Ferry point and another near Mapusa municipal garden.
Total eight people were arrested and cash and valuables like laptops, together worth Rs four lakhs seized. Further investigation is on.
