80% pvt jobs for Niz Goenkars: Cecille Rodrigues

THE GOAN:  In one sentence, why should people vote for you?

Cecille Rodrigues:  Because I’m the only opponent to the incumbent in Taleigao and also due to the work I have done. I am the best option the people have.

TG: If you are part of the government, which is the first legislation you would like to pass in the Assembly?

CR: A legislation to mandate hiring norms so that niz Goenkars get first 80% of the private jobs in Goa.

TG: Which is that one leader outside your party that you admire as a politician, and why?

CR: I admire Dayanand Bandodkar from the MGP for his vision and mission to build schools and improve the education system in Goa was legendary work, as it uplifted the poorest of the poor just like Babasaheb Ambedkar had prescribed and envisaged.

TG: Who would be your chief ministerial choice, should your party come into power?

CR: Amit Palekar is my CM choice as he has the wherewithal to lead our new, young, enthusiastic and dynamic team as he too is all of the above qualities.

TG: Do you justify a merger by 2/3rd or do you consider it as a move against the mandate of the people? Explain.

CR: I don’t justify even a single person switching parties after being elected, as I believe the MLA needs to go back to the people and get their mandate again as the voters have given the winner the original mandate and it’s paramount, as this ensures the democratic process enshrined in the Constitution is safeguarded and not circumvented.

TG: Do you feel that the 2022 election will throw a clear winner? Who are your top three finishers along with seats they are likely to win.

CR: Yes, AAP will be the clear winner in Goa with the top three finishers as follows.

1. Cecille in Talegao

2. Venzy in Benaulim

3. Pratima in Navelim

These 3 big upsets and major wins will lead the way for an Aam Aadmi Party government in Goa.
